Ouberg Lodge, a three star country executive lodge situated in Middelburg, the Heartland of the Karoo. Our wonderfully appointed, large Colonial rooms all have en-suit bathrooms and are equipped with satellite television. We have lodge rooms, garden rooms and the Ouberg suite with private lounge and kitchen.

Matt & Corrie Marell welcome you to their farm with a warm “feel-at-home” feeling. They speak English, Afrikaans, Dutch, German and a little French. Their farm is run on a self-sustaining and eco-friendly basis. Electricity is provided by means of Solar panels. A diesel generator is on site to provide back-up power in case of too little sun. As the farm is on a watershed the borehole water is unpolluted. Children are welcome and are allowed to help feed farm animals like goats, sheep, cows and horses.
