South Africa's Eastern Cape is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and interesting regions on planet Earth. The Eastern Cape's biodiversity is unmatched in Southern-Africa. There are 5 biogeographic regions in the Eastern Cape, spanning from the semi-desert Karoo in the interior to the lush green forests of the Garden Route.

The Eastern Cape offers visitors a wealth of fauna and flora, including the big 5 – Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and African Buffalo. At the Addo Elephant Park and the Mountain Zebra National Park you can enjoy some of the natural wonders of the Eastern Cape. If you want luxury, the Eastern Cape has some of the best Game Reserves.

The Eastern Cape offers 800km of untouched and pristine coastline along with some of the world's best beaces. Port Elizabeth alone has 40km of magnificent beaches. Together with the Eastern Cape's warm water, calm sea and fair breezes, it is one of the best sailing venues in the world.

Fishing, more than anything else draws holiday makers to the Wild Coast. This part of the Eastern Cape offers unspoilt and uncommercialised nature.

Southern Right whales and calves can regularly be spotted between May and November while bottlenose dolphins are often spotted close to the shore.

At Tsitsikamma in the Eastern Cape you will also find the worl'd highest Bungee jump. This 216 meter jump from the Blaauwkrans bridge offers adrenalin seekers the thrill of a lifetime. The Tsitsikamma National Park, also known as the pace of much water, is an ideal breakaway for the Nature Lover.
